Game Play

The game starts off as you plan to check into the Haunted Hotel so that you can find out who is behind the disappearances. At this point you are taking through a very well done tutorial, putting you on the right path on how to find the secret objects.

By following puzzles you learn where you need to go and who your next suspect might infact be. Going to many different rooms and environments to find clues and hidden objects. In each area you go to, you have a list of items that have to be found. Some items will be put into your inventory to be used later, while others wont. Can you find all of the objects listed?

Can you solve some of the mind numbing puzzles and mini games to find new clues to where you must look next or to find out who your next suspect might be. Excellent mini games such as code breaker, where you have to find the code to break into a protected door.

Can you help solve the case? Can you manage to stay in the Haunted Hotel?

Graphics

The game starts with a nice comic/cartoon style introduction to the game, this offers a little insight into the story and about the scary, dark hotel. The interface is done very well, easily allowing you to see what objects are needed.

The actually enviroments are really impressive, so many objects lying around in places to make the finding of the required objects a decent challenge. Anyone that likes Hidden Object Games really will find this entertaining and a decent challenge.

Sound Effects/Music

The music in the game has been designed to be slightly eerie, helping even more to give the impression that the hotel is in fact haunted. Or at least give the feeling that it holds many secrets, and perhaps even a killer!

With a nice sound effect every time an object is found, or a secret has been discovered. There are also some excellent background sound effects to really get the tension rising such as a ticking clock, or a machine noise

Conclusion

This is an incredible PC Hidden Object Game, I have played many and they simply get boring very quickly. This is different, each area that you go to is new and offers new objects to find. This can be very challenging, which is why I am glad you do get 5 hints to use if your having trouble finding them last couple of objects (like i have so many times!)

A great aspect of the game is that you do not just go from one area to another to find more objects, you do have to solve puzzles or mini games in between areas so that you can find out what your next clue is or even find out who could be the cause of the problems.
